September 5-17 Feria de Murcia kicks off with new rides, discounts and exciting events
Get ready for the ultimate funfair experience at the Murcia FICA fairground next month
The Region of Murcia is gearing up for the ultimate family experience at the Feria de Murcia, or Murcia Fair, running from September 5 to 17. This year, the FICA fairground is pulling out all the stops with nearly 150 attractions, booths and shows spread across 40,000 square metres of pure fun.
Whether you're a thrill-seeker or looking for something special for the kids, there's something for everyone.
Be sure to head on down on Thursday September 5, the grand opening day, where stilt walkers, jugglers and spectacular fire breathers will kick off the festivities with a bang. Plus, everyone can enjoy a 2x1 discount on all rides to double the fun.
For adrenaline junkies, don't miss the three brand-new adult rides: the towering 'Gigant XXL' at nearly 40 metres high, the thrilling 'Inverter' and the immersive 'Game Over' experience with virtual reality. And for the little adventurers, a new Jurassic Park-inspired attraction promises to transport them to a world of dinosaurs and excitement.
But the fun doesn't stop there. On Tuesday September 10, celebrate Children's Day with a 50% discount on all kids' rides and even on adult attractions from 6pm to 10pm. And for those who need a quieter environment, such as people with special needs or those with autism spectrum disorder, Wednesday September 11 is Noise-Free Day, ensuring everyone can enjoy the magic of the fair.
With 60 attractions and 70 stalls, plus shows, raffles and picnic areas, the Murcia Fair at the FICA fairground is the must-visit event of the season.
While the companies operating the rides will ultimately decide on pricing, most of the attractions (barring the brand-new ones) should range between 3 and 5 euros, the same as last year.
